Scaling & Cleaning
Scaling and cleaning removes plaque and tartar to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Mild gum soreness or slight bleeding
Temporary sensitivity to hot, cold, or sweet foods
Brush twice daily with a soft toothbrush
Floss gently between your teeth
Rinse with warm salt water once or twice daily for 2–3 days
Avoid very hot, cold, or hard foods for 1–2 days
Bleeding lasts more than 2–3 days
Sensitivity worsens instead of improving
Swelling or pain does not go away
Use toothpaste for sensitive teeth if needed
Visit the clinic every 6 months for regular cleaning
Reduce sugary food and drinks
